Hefazat calls nationwide hartal for Sunday
They will also demonstrate on Saturday protesting against today’s police attack on them

Hefazat-e-Islam has called a dawn-to-dusk hartal across the country on Sunday, in protest against the police action on their anti-Modi rally in Dhaka, Chattogram and other districts.
They will also stage demonstrations on Saturday.
Abdur Rob Eusufi, nayeb-e-ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam, announced the programme at a press briefing in Purana Paltan area of Dhaka on Friday night.
Earlier on the day, Hefazat-e-Islam and other like-minded Islamist parties brought out rallies in Dhaka, Chattogram and some other districts in the afternoon, protesting against Bangladesh visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At least five people were killed in Chattogram and Brahmanbaria and dozens injured as they clashed with police being barred from protesting.
