Heavy rainfall, landslides, waterlogging likely in 3 divisions
BMD predicted rains in Chattogram, Barishal and Khulna divisions commencing 10am today

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast heavy (44-88mm/24hrs) to very heavy (88mm/24hrs) rainfall at many places over in three divisions due to active southwest monsoon.
It predicted rains in Chattogram, Barishal and Khulna divisions commencing 10am today (5 July), said a bulletin.
Due to very heavy rainfall landslide may occur at places over the hilly regions in Chattogram division.
Besides, temporary waterlogging may occur at places in the Chattogram metropolitan areas, it added.
