Mukadir elected president, Zakir as secy gen of BAPI
The 54th Annual General Meeting of BAPI was held yesterday (15 March), where the election for the new executive committee took place

Abdul Mukadir, chairman and managing director of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd, has been elected as the president of the Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) for the next two years.
Meanwhile, Dr Md Zakir Hossain, managing director of Delta Pharma Ltd, has been elected as the secretary general, while Md Halimuzzaman, deputy managing director and CEO of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd, will serve as the treasurer.
The 54th Annual General Meeting of BAPI was held yesterday (15 March), where the election for the new executive committee took place.
Additionally, M Mosaddek Hossain, Chairman of UniMed UniHealth Pharmaceuticals Ltd, has been elected as the senior vice president, and Syed S Kaiser Kabir, managing director and CEO of Renata PLC, as the vice president.
The newly elected 20-member executive committee includes SM Shafiuzzaman (managing director, Hudson Pharmaceuticals Ltd), Md Harunur Rashid (chairman and managing director, Globe Pharmaceuticals Ltd), MA Haider Hussain (managing director, Drug International Ltd), Rabbur Reza (CEO, Senevia Pharma PLC), Hasnin Muktadir (vice chairman, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd - Vaccine Division), Md Abdur Razzaq (managing director, Nipro JMI Pharma Ltd.), Simeen Rahman (managing director and group CEO, SKF Pharmaceuticals Ltd), M Mohibuz Zaman (chief operating officer, ACI Ltd), Md Nasser Shahriar Zahedi (chairman, Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd), KSM Mostafizur Rahman (managing director, One Pharma Ltd), Md Mizanur Rahman (Executive Director, Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd - Chemical Division), Fahim Sinha (Director, The ACME Laboratories Ltd), Ahmed Imtiaz Hassan (director, Aristopharma Ltd), Rafidul Haq (managing director, General Pharmaceuticals Ltd - Unit-2), and Arafat Zahid Ibn Shafi (deputy managing director, Minara API Ltd).
