Dengue death toll hits 201 as 6 more die
The country recorded 1,868 new dengue hospitalisations in the last 24 hours.
Six more people died of dengue across the country in the last 24 hours, raising this year's death toll to 201, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the DGHS reported the deaths in a press release issued today (23 September).
The country recorded 1,868 new dengue hospitalisations during the same period, taking the cumulative number of cases to 67,367 this year.

Of the six deaths, one each was reported in Barishal and Mymensingh divisions, while two each were recorded in Dhaka South City Corporation and Chattogram division.
Meanwhile, 1,557 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries this year to 62,117.
