4 dengue patients die, 1,252 hospitalised in 24 hours
Dengue deaths rise to 111 this year.
Four dengue patients died, and 1,252 new patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours between 8am yesterday (2 September) and 8am today (3 September), according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With the latest deaths, the dengue death toll in Bangladesh has risen to 111 this year, while the total number of reported cases has reached 39,532, according to a press release issued by the DGHS today.
Of the four deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, one was reported in Dhaka South City Corporation, one in Dhaka North City Corporation, one in Mymensingh Division, and one in Khulna Division.
