10 students of school in Narayanganj fall sick with reported breathing problems
Seven of them have been undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as their conditions were stated to be critical

Ten secondary students at a school in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district this afternoon (19 May) suddenly fell sick after suffering from breathing problems in the classroom.
Seven of them have been undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as their conditions were stated to be critical.
The victims are from Sonargaon Pilot Girls' High School.
According to teachers and students, one of the students first complained of breathing difficulties while attending the class in the afternoon.
Later, nine more girls faced the same problem and fell sick.
They initially were rushed to Upazila Health Complex and later seven of them were referred to the DMCH.
Dr Tahmina Akhter, a physician of the upazila health complex, said first-aid was provided to the students who were suffering from respiratory complexity.
Later, seven of them were shifted to the DMCH considering conditions, she added.
