Hasan calls for taking all-out preparations for Mujib Year

Information Minister and Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today called upon the grassroots leaders and workers of the party to take all-out preparations for the celebrations of Mujib Year.

He came up with the call while addressing the first meeting of newly formed working committee of Rangunia Upazila unit of AL this evening.

The AL joint general secretary said as per the party constitution a person cannot hold posts in more than one organization unit of AL.

Giving an example, he said those who will get secretary post in the upcoming Chattogram North District unit of AL, they cannot hold any post except member in the upazila unit of the party.

Hasan urged the leaders and workers to abide by the party Constitution and discipline.

Upazila AL President Sirajul Islam Chowdhury chaired the function which was moderated by its General Secretary Engineer Shamsul Alam Talukder.

Death references were taken for late AL leaders and a munajat was offered seeking early recovery of ailing leaders of the party on the occasion.
