Govt sets Ramadan office hours from 9am to 3:30pm

The government has fixed office hours for the upcoming month of Ramadan, setting them from 9:00am to 3:30pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous organisations.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard today (24 February).
According to the notice, there will be a 15-minute break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm for Zuhr prayers.
However, banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, postal services, railways, hospitals, state-run mills and factories, and other emergency service providers will determine their own office hours in accordance with their respective regulations and in consideration of public interest.
Additionally, the Supreme Court will set the office hours for all courts.
The month of Ramadan is expected to begin on 2 March, subject to the sighting of the moon.
