Govt extends vehicle documents updating without fine for six months

The government has extended the facility to update vehicle documents – fitness, tax token and route permit – without paying any fine till December 31.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges issued a notification today in this regard.
A stern announcement was also made to the effect that no more opportunities will be given to defaulting vehicle owners in the future, said the notification.
