The government has called upon all to submit video and still images of Anti-discrimination Student Movement and and July Revolution aimed at preserving those.

The Press Information Department (PID) has issued a handout to this end.

"The videos and still photos of the revolution in your collection are our national assets. Contribute to the conservation of the resources," the handout reads.

The PID under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken the initiative to preserve permanently the audio-visual documents and still images of the events of the July Revolution aroused the world for the future generations, the handout said.

If anyone has video footage or still images of the movement and revolution, has been requested to send those to the email address pidjuly2024@gmail.com with a brief description.

The revolution has shown the dream of a bright new Bangladesh to stand tall on the global stage front as a fascism-free, democratic and self-respecting nation, the handout said. The students and people were involved in the movement.

Children-teenagers-students have sacrificed their lives to build the new Bangladesh reflecting their dreams.

The tragic atrocities of bloody July and its heroism may be lost without proper preservation, the release added.
