Govt appoints Sarwar Alam as president's press secretary

The government has appointed Mohammad Sarwar Alam as press secretary to President Mohammed Shahabuddin on a contractual basis for one year.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration today (24 February), the appointment has been made under Section 49 of the Government Service Act, 2018.
He will serve in the role for a period of one year from the date of his joining.
