Gazette reveals what Tarique's cabinet looks like
In addition to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the cabinet consists of 25 full ministers and 24 ministers of state.
The portfolios of the members of the new cabinet, led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, have been formally distributed.
The members of the new cabinet took their oaths yesterday afternoon (17 February). Later that night, the Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification distributing the portfolios to the ministers and state ministers.
In addition to Prime Minister Tarique, the cabinet consists of 25 full ministers and 24 ministers of state.
According to the Rules of Business, the prime minister distributes the responsibilities of ministries or divisions among the ministers and ministers of state.
Responsibilities of full ministers
The Cabinet Division, Ministry of Defence, and Armed Forces Division have been kept under the authority of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
