Gas cylinder blast burns 3 in Ctg
Three wood shop workers were burnt seriously in Banglabazar Asam Bengal Ghat area of the district, while two of them are in critical condition.

At least three people suffered serious burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast at a wood shop in Chattogram today.
The injured were identified as Md Mozammel, 21, Haidar Ali, 25, and Mohammad Ershad, 24. All of them were workers at the shop and they were admitted at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
The incident took place at a wood shop named Laboni Power Tree in Banglabazar Asam Bengal Ghat area.
Among the three, Mozammel and Haider are in critical condition.
Sadarghat Police Station Sub-Inspector Md Shahin said, "Some workers were working in a room with a pipeline from a large gas cylinder. Closing the room, they went for lunch. As soon as they opened the door after returning, the trapped gas exploded."
Zaheerul Haque Bhuiyan, in-charge of the CMCH police outpost, said, "The three injured are undergoing treatment at the Burn and Plastic Surgery Ward No 36."
