The Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Rajuk and MRT Project will work with Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) to ease traffic congestion in the city, DNCC Administrator Mohammad Azaz said today (3 May).
He said this while visiting the Bikalpa July 36 Expressway (300 feet) at Pragati Sarani for opening three corridors from the second U-turn to United International University and Rampura via Aftabnagar.
He said, "If we can open these three corridors, then the traffic congestion of Pragati Sarani and its adjoining areas will reduce significantly."
People's sufferings have been increased at various points of Pragati Sarani as the construction work of metro rail project is going on.
