Farooki now out of danger: Tisha
Quoting doctors, Tisha said Farooki’s illness was caused by excessive workload, and she requested all to keep him in their prayers.

Cultural Affairs Adviser and filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is now out of danger and receiving treatment at a city hospital, his wife, actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha, said in a post on her verified Facebook page last night (16 August).
"Farooki suddenly fell sick while attending a workshop of his ministry in Cox's Bazar on Saturday and was later airlifted to Dhaka by helicopter," she writes.
Upon his arrival in the capital, he was admitted to Square Hospital. Earlier, it was mentioned that he had been taken to United Hospital Limited.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs issued this morning (17 August), a medical board meeting is scheduled for 3pm today to decide on the next course of treatment.
The ministry also urged people not to be misled by any information other than updates from reliable sources.
