Faridpur, Sherpur get new DCs

The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) for Faridpur and Sherpur districts.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification yesterday (23 April) in this regard.

As per the notification, Mazharul Islam, director (deputy secretary) at the Department of Narcotics Control, has been made new DC of Faridpur, while Farida Yasmin, a deputy secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration, has been appointed as the DC of Sherpur.
