Falling tree crushes CNG in Dhanmondi, 2 injured
The incident occurred near the main road, where traffic congestion had already caused the CNG to stop.

Two people sustained minor injuries after a large Mahogany tree fell on a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Dhaka's Dhanmondi area during a storm accompanied by strong winds yesterday (31 July).
Photos were circulating on social media since the incident.
The incident occurred near the main road, where traffic congestion had already caused the CNG to stop.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard today (1 August), additional Deputy Commissioner (Dhanmondi zone) Jishanul Haque said, "The tree was uprooted during the storm and collapsed onto the road, severely damaging the CNG.
"Fortunately, the driver was outside the vehicle at the time due to traffic congestion. Firefighters quickly responded and rescued both passengers trapped inside. They were found alive and suffered only minor injuries."
According to witnesses and police, the tree fell gradually, giving the driver enough time to step out of the vehicle.
