Adviser to ex-Bangladesh Bank governor forced out by a mob of officials
The incident took place in front of Mansur around 3pm today (25 February).
Ahsan Ullah, adviser to now former Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Mansur, was forced out of the central bank after a group of officials formed a mob and removed him from the premises.
The incident took place in front of Mansur around 3pm today (25 February).
At the time, Additional Director Touhidul Islam led efforts to push Ahsan Ullah into a vehicle, holding him by the neck.
Executive Director Sarwar Hossain, Director Naushad Mostafa, and Additional Director Tanvir were present, along with around 30 central bank officials.
