Health condition of Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has deteriorated.

"The doctors said his condition is critical when I went to the CMH in the morning to see him", said the acting chairman of the party and Ershad's brother GM Quader.

"His liver is not working fully. He is receiving transfusion of blood and other necessary treatment as per need," Quader said while briefing the media on Friday morning at the party’s Banani office.

He said Ershad's blood is being cleaned by dialysis.
