Ongoing cold wave likely to continue till 11 January
Country’s lowest temperature was recorded at Badalgachhi in Naogain at 6.7 degrees Celsius while Dhaka recorded the season's lowest 11.9 Degrees Celsius today.
The current cold wave sweeping parts of the country will continue for three to four more days until 11 January, according to Bangladesh Metrological Department.
According to the regular bulletin of Met office, "A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna and Barishal divisions and the districts of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Kishoregonj, Manikganj, Narsingdi, Narayanganj, Netrokona, Moulvibazar, Lakshmipur and Cumilla and it may continue."
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during mid-night to morning and it may continue till noon at places.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

Besides, the well-marked low over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian ocean persisted over the same area.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify further. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay. Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining western part of Bangladesh.
