A mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Feni, Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) at its weather forecast release stated it this morning (7 April).
Trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area and seasonal low lies over the South Bay while a low pressure area is likely to form over South Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours, Met office predicted this morning.
Rainfall with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi and Chattogram Divisions, said the Met office.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The Met office yesterday (6 April) recorded maximum temperature at 38 degrees Celsius at Baghabari under Rangpur Division while today's minimum temperature as 18.5 degrees Celsius at Sylhet under the Sylhet Division, the Met office added.
Today's sunset at Dhaka would be at 6:17pm while tomorrow's sunrise would be at 5:45am.
