The University recognizes its 138 employees and 23 units for outstanding performances

IUB awards faculty, staff members 

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) has awarded its faculty and staff members for outstanding contributions towards the glorious achievements of the university over the last three decades.

The Employee Recognition & Awards Ceremony of IUB took place at the university premises in Bashundhara R/A in Dhaka on Thursday, said a press release. 

In total 138 employees and 23 units received the awards in different categories for their outstanding performances.

IUB Board of Trustees chairman A Matin Chowdhury and vice chancellor (acting) professor Milan Pagon distributed the awards and prizes among all awardees. 

During the occasion, they appreciated and acknowledged the exceptional contributions that the employees made to make IUB as one of the topmost universities of the country.

The awardees have received crests, certificates and other incentives for their splendid attainments.

The criteria for the awards were:  Length of Service; Teaching Excellence; Number of Citations (Google Scholar); Publication Excellence; Student Service Excellence; Outstanding Staff Performance and Exceptional Services during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

IUB treasurer Khandker Md Iftekhar Haider delivered vote of thanks.

Along with invited guests, all members from the faculty and administration attended the event.
