CPA signs lease agreement with Al-Hidaaya International School
Under the agreement, a fully equipped modern building owned by the port authority has been leased to the school on a monthly rental basis for a period of ten years

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and the educational development of its community, the Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) has signed a lease agreement with Al-Hidaaya International School, an English medium institution based in Chattogram.
Under the agreement, a fully equipped modern building owned by the port authority has been leased to the school on a monthly rental basis for a period of ten years.
The initiative aims to provide quality education for the children of more than 5,000 CPA officers and employees, while also serving families in nearby areas including Agrabad, Halishahar, EPZ, and Patenga.
The agreement was formally signed on 28 April, 2025, by Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman, Chairman of the Chattogram Port Authority and Captain Mahfuzul Islam, Director of Al-Hidaaya International School. The signing took place in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.
According to a press release issued by the Chattogram Port Authority, Al-Hidaaya International School is scheduled to begin its academic sessions in July 2025.
Among those present at the signing ceremony were Md. Habibur Rahman, Member (Administration and Planning), Commodore Kausar Rashid, Member (Engineering), as well as heads of departments and other senior officials from both organizations.
