EC transfers 49 district, additional district election officers
The officers must be relieved of their current posts by 18 September

The Election Commission (EC) has transferred 49 district and additional district election officers across the country.
In addition, seven regional election officers and five other officers have been reassigned through separate notification.
The transfers were announced in a notification signed by EC Assistant Secretary Mohammad Shahidur Rahman today (11 September).
The notification stated that officers must be relieved of their current posts by 18 September; otherwise, they will be considered automatically relieved on that day.
Among the key transfers, Rangpur Regional Election Officer Md Dulal Talukder has been appointed deputy secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat, while Faridpur Regional Election Officer Md Alauddin has been made regional election officer of Sylhet.
Deputy Secretary Md Mahbub Alam Shah has been transferred to Faridpur as regional election officer, and Rajshahi Regional Election Officer Md Delwar Hossain has been posted to Rangpur. Election Training Institute (ETI) administration branch director Md Atiar Rahman has been appointed director of the ETI training branch, and Sylhet Regional Election Officer Mohammad Nurul Alam has been moved to ETI as director of the administration branch.
Another Election Commission office order reshuffled several deputy secretaries within the EC secretariat.
According to the order, GM Sahatab Uddin has been given responsibility for the human resources development and welfare branch, Md Rafiqul Islam has been assigned to the general services-1 branch, Md Humayun Kabir to the election support and supply branch, M Mazharul Islam to the budget branch, and Enamul Haque to the general services-2 branch.
