RAF Fairford suspects released on bail as terror investigation continues
Five London men have been released on police bail after being arrested near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act. The incident triggered an evacuation of 85 households, a police cordon and airspace restrictions around the US Air Force operating location.Counter Terrorism Policing is investigating possible foreign-state links, while Iran has strongly denied allegations connecting it to the incident. US officials have also commented on the investigation.
