EC to publish draft voter list on 10 August

The Election Commission (EC) will publish the draft voter list on 10 August for holding the upcoming 13th national polls.
Additional Secretary of the EC AKM Ali Newaz today (29 July) told BSS that the commission will publish the final voter lists after verifying and scrutinising the draft voter lists.
Replying to a question, he said the final voter list may be finalised by 31 August.

Earlier on 21 July, Senior Secretary to the EC Akhter Ahmed told the media that the draft voter list would be published within this month.
A total of 44,66,000 new voters have already been added in the voter list, he said adding that these voters would also be included in the draft voter list as per decision of the commission.
