Driver, assistants of Turna Nishita train suspended

The driver and his two assistants of Turna Nishita train have been suspended over the accident that killed at least 16 people and injured dozens early today.
Secretary of the Railway Ministry Mohammad Mofazzal Hossain made the disclosure before media while visiting the accident spot at Mandabhag Railway Station in Brahmanbari's Kasba.
Meanwhile, the government has allocated Tk1 lakh for each family of the deceased passengers and Tk10,000 for the injured.
