Dream71 to build a digital platform for promoting renewable energy in the African country Lesotho
Under the project, Dream71 will develop a modern, secure, and web-based digital platform that will provide e-tendering, data management, real-time monitoring, and geospatial analysis services.

Under the "Renewable Lesotho: Access to Affordable and Renewable Energy" project, a joint initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Lesotho, the Bangladeshi information technology company Dream71 Bangladesh Limited has been awarded the responsibility of building a digital platform.
This Bangladeshi company participated in an international tender published by UNDP last January. After the final evaluation of the tender, upon being selected based on its financial and technical proposals, the agreement between UNDP and Dream71 was signed today (16 April), reads a press statment.
Under the project, Dream71 will develop a modern, secure, and web-based digital platform that will provide e-tendering, data management, real-time monitoring, and geospatial analysis services.
Rashad Kabir, managing director of Dream71, said, "We are proud to be associated with this project. We believe it is possible to advance the remote populations of developing countries through sustainable technology. This platform will be a powerful catalyst for change for the people of Lesotho."
This project will run from April 2025 to April 2027.
Notably, this Bangladeshi IT company exports software to approximately 15 countries. Dream71 also provides software services to various ministries of the Bangladesh government. In addition to Bangladesh, this company has also developed various software for the governments of East Timor and Bhutan.
