DMP transfers 2 ADCs, 5 ACs in reshuffle
The reshuffle also cancels Tania Sultana’s posting as ADC of the Traffic-Tejgaon Division.
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred seven officers – two additional deputy commissioners (ADCs) and five assistant commissioners (ACs) – in a reshuffle.
DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed issued the transfer order today (10 August).
According to the order, ADC Md Al Amin Hossain has been transferred from the Gulshan Division to the Badda Zone of the same division, while ADC Ehsanul Kamran Tanvir has been transferred from the Procurement and Workshop Division to the Traffic-Lalbagh Division.
Among the ACs, Ziaul Haque Shah has been transferred to the Patrol-Mohammadpur Zone of the Tejgaon Division, Rakibul Hasan Sakib to the Patrol-Uttara East Zone of the Uttara Division, and Md Saifullah to the Cyber and Special Crime-North Division of the Detective Branch.
An AC of the Uttara Division Habibur Rahman has been transferred to the DMP Operations Division, while POM Division AC Shahibul Islam has been transferred to the Logistics Division.
The order also cancelled the posting of Tania Sultana as ADC of the Traffic-Tejgaon Division, which was issued in a separate order on 6 August.
