DMP reshuffles eight OCs
DMP Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam issued an order in this regard

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred eight officers-in-charge (OC) and 18 inspectors.
On Monday, DMP Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam issued an order in this regard.
DMP has transferred Dhanmondi police station OC Abdul Latif to Mohammadpur police station. Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit Inspector Humayan Kabir was shifted to Dhanmondi police station.
Airport police station OC Mohammad Noor-e-Azam has been given the charge of Banani police station, while the incumbent Banani police station OC B M Forman Ali has been assigned to the charge of Airport police station.
Gulshan Police Station OC (Investigation) was transferred to the New Market police station. The current OC of Kadamtali police station OC (investigation) was shifted to Darussalam police station.
The DMP order transferred current OC (investigation) of Kotwali police station to Chawkbazar police station and Tejgaon Police station OC (investigation) to Badda police station.
In the same order issued, DMP has transferred incumbent New Market Police station OC Mohammad Atikur Rahman to the detective branch.
Mohammadpur police station OC Ganesh Gopal Biswas was transferred to the prosecution department of DMP. Aslam Uddin, OC of Darussalam police station, was shifted to the operation department of DMP headquarters.
Chakbazar Police Station OC Sohrab Hossain was shifted to the counter terrorism unit. Badda police station OC Rafiqul Islam was assigned to the crime department.
Mohammadpur police station OC (operations) Mohammad Shariful Islam was moved to the logistic department of DMP and Dhakhinkhan police station Shafiqul Gani to operation department of DMP.
Inspectors of line ware of police, Shah Alam, Shamsul Alam and HM Kamal Hossain have been transferred to DMP headquarters.
DMP made the reshuffle following the anti-gambling drive which led to the surfacing of allegations against some field-level police officials patronising gamblers.
