DMP files 1582 cases for traffic rules violation in city

The traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,582 cases for violating traffic rules after conducting drives across the capital yesterday.
In addition, the DMP traffic officials also dumped 199 vehicles and wrecked other 54 during the drive, according to a press release issued by DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) Muhammad Talebur Rahman.
These cases were filed after conducting an operation by the DMP's traffic division on Monday.
The DMP emphasized that these enforcement drives would continue to maintain order and discipline on the streets of Dhaka.
