Dhaka south removes 14,921 tonnes wastes in 3 days

The Dhaka South City Corporation has removed all the wastes produced from the sacrificial animals slaughtered on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha by 8:45pm on Monday.
Around 14,921 tonnes of wastes were removed in three days from 75 wards under the city corporation.
A total of 4,606 trips were made to remove the wastes and transfer those to the landfill at Matuail, an outskirt of the capital Dhaka.
