A Met office bulletin confirmed that light rain or drizzles, along with temporary gusty winds, were reported in parts of the capital and other divisions.
Meanwhile, a mild heatwave continues to affect various districts, including Dhaka, Faridpur, Manikganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rangamati, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jashore, Chuadanga, and Patuakhali.
"Rain, thundershowers, or lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds are likely at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, and Sylhet divisions, with isolated hailstorms," the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in its forecast.
