DCs of Natore, Gaibandha and Rangpur, Rajshahi divisional commissioner withdrawn
The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications last night (18 August).
The government has withdrawn the deputy commissioners (DCs) of Natore, Gaibandha and Rangpur, as well as the divisional commissioner of Rajshahi, from their respective posts.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications last night (18 August) withdrawing the four Bangladesh Administrative Service officials from their current positions.
According to the notifications, Natore DC Asma Shaheen, Gaibandha DC Mohammad Masudur Rahman Mollah and Rangpur DC Mohammad Rohol Amin have been relieved of their duties as district commissioners and attached to the Ministry of Public Administration for their next postings.
Meanwhile, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Dr ANM Bazlur Rashid has also been withdrawn from his post and attached to the Ministry of Public Administration pending his next assignment.
The notifications, however, did not specify the reasons for the officials' withdrawal.
