Woman's body found stuffed in sack under Ctg flyover

Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman under a flyover in the Lalkhan Bazar area of Chattogram this afternoon.
The body, found inside a sack and covered with a blanket, is suspected to be a victim of murder, according to police.
The deceased woman, estimated to be in her early 30's and wearing a shalwar kameez, could not be identified immediately.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulshi Police Station Md Aftab Hossain, told The Business Standard, "The body is in the second stage of decomposition, indicating that she likely died at least two days ago. The sack containing the body was placed in the middle of the flyover's island and covered with a blanket, making it appear as if someone was sleeping there. We recovered it after being informed by locals."
He added, "Although no obvious injury marks are visible, the fact that the body was found inside a sack suggests a possible homicide. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause of death."
Her body has been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
To determine her identity, the police plan to collect fingerprints through the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) or the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).
An investigation is underway to uncover further details and find those responsible for the suspected murder, said the police.
