The victim, a 26-year-old hotel worker from Paschimpara village in Juniadah Union, was returning home with her husband on a van from her workplace.
They were stopped by a group of miscreants in the Moslempur area. The attackers allegedly beat and tied up the husband before gang-raping his wife.
