Trust bus driver detained over Bangla Motor accident
PBI Dhaka Metro (North) arrested him from Mirpur's Kazipara area

The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested the driver of the Trust Transport Services bus over August 27 accident at Bangla Motor intersection in which a woman was severely injured that led to amputation of her left leg.
"A team of PBI Dhaka Metro (North) arrested him from Mirpur's Kazipara area at 10:30pm Sunday," Inspector Mohammad Tariqul Islam told The Business Standard.
Earlier on August 27, a speeding bus of Trust Transport Services lost control, drove onto the sidewalk, and hit Bangladesh Inland Water Transportation Corporation’s Assistant Manager Krishna Rai Chowdhury, 55.
Later, her left leg had to be amputated below the knee at National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (Nitor).
Radhe Shyam Chowdhury, victim's husband filed a case against the driver, helper and owner of the bus the following day.
