A teenage madrasah tutor has been arrested in a case filed over the alleged sexual abuse of a 10-year-old boy in the Kotwali area of Chattogram.
Police said they arrested the 16-year-old accused last night (10 May).
The victim's mother alleged that the incident came to the family's attention after the child fell ill following the incident.

Later, they filed a case at Kotwali Police Station against the teen, said Officer-in-Charge Aftab Uddin.
According to police, the accused teen is a part-time teacher at Markazul Quran Was Sunnah Madrasah in the Khalifa Patti area of Chattogram and the son of another teacher at the same institution.
The survivor was sent to the One-stop Crisis Centre of Chittagong Medical College Hospital for medical tests and is currently undergoing treatment in another hospital in Chittagong.
