Police say efforts are underway to arrest the robbers

A Nagad distributor was reportedly abducted and robbed of Tk1 crore by individuals posing as Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members in the capital's Uttara area today.
The incident occurred on Road 12 of Uttara Sector 13 at around 9am.
The victim, Nagad distributor Abdur Rahman, lives in Uttara Sector 12.
Citing the victim's accounts, a police officer from Uttara West Police Station said Abdur Rahman was on his way to deposit the money at Nagad's Uttara office when a group of individuals in a black microbus intercepted him.
