IS claims responsibility for blast at Awami League's Khulna office

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a bomb blast at a ward Awami League office in Khulna city on Monday evening.

Hours after the explosion, AmaqAgency tweeted: "Today, the League Awami Party headquarters in Bangladesh suffered material damage, after the Islamic State fighters detonated an explosive device inside it, in the Shiromoni area, in Khulna District, located in Southwest of the country."

However, there has been no reports of any injuries as yet.

The incident occurred on Monday evening at ruling party office located in the Shiromoni area of the city.
