SC launches another helpline number for litigants

The Supreme Court has launched another helpline number to extend quick and uninterrupted judicial services to the litigants.

Along with the previous helpline number (01316154216), the litigants or service seekers can submit their complaints and suggestions to the new helpline number over 01795373680, said Md Shafiqul Islam, public relations officer of the Appellate Division of the SC in a press release today (5 January).

Both helpline numbers will remain open from 10am to 4pm on Sunday to Thursday except public holidays.

The SC administration launched the helpline number on 26 September on the instructions of Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed.

In the last three months, since the launching of the first helpline 1,003 calls have been received from the country seeking legal advices, filing complaints and searching information on cases.
