Later, Sattar told reporters that there were 11 accused in the case. The court had framed charges against the 11 accused on 4 March, 2018. However, two of them – one of the arrestees and one fugitive – later died.

Khalilur Rahman Mir, Samsuzzaman alias Abul Kalam, Md Abdullah, Abdul Malek Akand alias Abul Hossain alias Abul Member, Raichh Uddin Azadi alias Akkel Ali, and Abdul Latif were arrested in the case. Abul Member died during the trial.

The fugitives are: AFM Faizullah, Abdur Razzak Mandal, Sirajul Islam Tota, and Alim Uddin Khan. Meanwhile, Nurul Amin Shahjahan was also absconding but died before he could be arrested.

On 20 February, 2017, the investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal unveiled its final report of the investigation against them.

The accused have been charged with: four counts of murder, robbery, arson, kidnapping, detention, torture, and extortion.

They face charges of killing four people as well as detaining and torturing nine others.

It is alleged that during the War of Liberation, the defendants committed these crimes in Sadhua village of Niguari union and Rouha village of Tangab union – under Pagla Police Station of Gafargaon upazila in Mymensingh.
