Tribunal to hear charge framing against Qamrul, Menon on 2 March

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 today (19 February) fixed 2 March to hear charge framing in a case filed against Former Ministers Rashed Khan Menon and Advocate Qamrul Islam over alleged crimes against humanity during the July Mass Uprising.
The two-member tribunal, headed by Justice Golam Martuza Mazumder, passed the order this morning.
The prosecution filed the formal charge on 3 February 2026, which was later taken into cognisance by the tribunal.
