Court orders to publish ad asking Abrar murder fugitives to surrender
The other 21 charged-sheeted accused are now in jail
A Dhaka Court today ordered police to publish an advertisement in two national dailies asking four fugitive accused of Abrar Fahad murder to appear before the court by January 13.
The accused are Mustafa Rafid, former deputy office secretary of BUET Chhatra League wing and its members Morsheduzzaman Jishan, Ehtashamul Rabbi Tanim and Morshed Amartya Islam.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Kaisarul Islam passed the order following a warrant of Proclamation and Attachment (WP&A) was issued earlier on December 5.

However, the other 21 charged-sheeted accused are now in jail.
On October 7, Abrar, a second-year student of electrical and electronics engineering department (EEE) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, was beaten to death by a group of BCL men at the university's Sher-e-Bangla Hall.
On November 13, Inspector Mohammad Wahiduzaman of Detective Branch, also the investigation officer of the case, submitted the charge sheet before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court in Dhaka.
Of the 25 charge-sheeted accused, 17 are members of the Buet BCL unit. Most of them have been expelled by the pro-Awami League student body. Buet suspended 19 of the accused.
