Content creator Rs Fahim shown arrested in anti-terrorism case
Detective Branch (DB) Cyber and Special Crime (South) Sub-Inspector Amir Hamza, the investigating officer, applied on 9 June to have Fahim shown arrested in the case, prompting the court to schedule a hearing today.
A Dhaka court today (14 June) approved a police application to show content creator Rs Fahim Chowdhury arrested in an Anti-Terrorism Act case over allegations of conspiring against the state.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Jewel Rana granted the application following a petition submitted by the investigating officer of the case, state prosecutor Shamsuddoha Sumon said.

According to the case statement, investigators identified Fahim as a former Chhatra League leader and financial supporter, alleging that he was involved in a meeting in Ramna Park adjacent to the InterContinental Dhaka on 9 February last year as part of a conspiracy against the state.
The case was filed by Ramna Police Station Sub-Inspector Rezaul Karim.
Fahim was detained on 29 March by members of the public and a group of students before being turned over to Shah Ali Police Station. He was later transferred to Gulshan Police Station.
On 30 March, he was shown arrested in a murder case linked to the July Uprising and was subsequently sent to jail.
