Chief justice calls full court meeting on Thursday, agenda likely to include transfers and promotions of judges

Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed has called a full court meeting with the participation of all judges of both the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court.
The meeting will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday (27 November) in the Supreme Court conference room.
The information was disclosed in a notice signed by Md Atikus Samad, deputy registrar (Administration & Justice) of the Supreme Court, today (24 November).
According to Supreme Court sources, the full court meeting will decide on a number of important matters, including transfers and promotions of judges in the subordinate judiciary.
