25 new HC judges take oath

Twenty five judges of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court took oath today (26 August).
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath around 1:30pm at the Judges' Lounge of the Supreme Court, the Registrar's Office confirmed.
The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Moazzem Hossain, Registrar (Justice) of the High Court Division.

The appointments were made by the government yesterday (25 August).
Later last night, the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a gazette notification confirming the appointments.
