Chuadanga, Habiganj get new SPs after police reshuffle
The order will take effect immediately.
The government has transferred four officers of the BCS (Police) cadre, appointing new superintendents of police (SPs) for Habiganj and Chuadanga, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs today (10 March).
The notification, signed by the ministry's Deputy Secretary Tausif Ahmed, said the order will take effect immediately.
According to the notification, Habiganj Superintendent of Police (SP) Yasmin Khatun has been transferred to the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) as superintendent of police.
Deputy Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Tarek Mahmud has been transferred and appointed superintendent of police of Habiganj district.
Chuadanga Superintendent of Police Mohammad Monirul Islam has been transferred to the Special Branch (SB) as additional superintendent of police.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Mohammad Ruhul Kabir Khan has been transferred and appointed superintendent of police of Chuadanga district.
