The 11th international tourism fair "Chittagong Travel Mart 2019" began in the port city on Thursday at The Peninsula Chittagong, offering lucrative packages.
The airlines are offering 10 to 50 percent discounts on domestic and international routes tickets, for example.
22 organizations are taking part in the fair hosted by the Bangladesh Monitor – a travel publication.
Hossein Mohammad Imran, a government official, said that such fair will promote Bangladesh's tourism sector as well.
