'Chironjib Mujib' receives uncut censor certificate

Feature film "Chironjib Mujib" based on "Ausamapta Atmajiboni" (The Unfinished Memoirs), an autobiography by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has received uncensored clearance from the members of the Bangladesh Film Censor Board.
Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB) members took the decision after watching a show of the film on Friday, said a press release.
Penned and directed by Prime Minister's Speech Writer Nazrul Islam, the film is petitioned by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her younger sibling Sheikh Rehana.

The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself, has amended and refined the dialogues of the film.
Ahmed Rubel has essayed the role of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, while Purnima played the role of Begum Fazilatunnissa Renu in the movie.
Khairul Alam Sabuj and Dilara Zaman will be seen essaying the role of Banglabandhu's parents respectively.
SM Mohsin (late), Azad Abul Kalam, Shatabdi Wadud, Somu Chowdhury, Arman Parvez Murad, Shahjahan Samrat, Selim Ahmed (late) and Jewel Mahmud, will be seen in prominent roles among others.
Around Five hundred actors and actresses played different roles in the film.
Renowned singers Sabina Yasmin, Kumar Biswajit, Kiron Chandra Ray and Nolok Babu gave their voice in different songs of the film.
The film features songs by Gagan Harkara, Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam and Jasimuddin.
Earlier on June 23, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the poster of the film.
The film is expected to hit the theaters across the country soon.
